Selling cats for lower level cats

It would be great...and beneficial in some instances...to be able to sell higher level catalysts for shards of lower level. Currently you can sell t1s for t2 shards, t2 for t3 shards, t3 for t4 shards...great. but what about selling t3s for x amout t4 shards or x amount t2 shards....
