Is 5* Sabertooth worth a mutant awakening gem?

I just pulled Sabertooth and need some assistance. I do not have any rank 4 five stars, which has halted my progression. I have the resources to take sabertooth to rank 4. I am by no means a great player and I do make some mistakes. I know sabertooths sig allows him to regen based on damage taken, and was wondering if it would be a good idea to use it to get through act 5? Thanks

    He has decent regen yeah. I don’t know if I would use an awaking gem on him however.

    As an attacker his Sig isn't that helpful..yes it gives us some regen but for that u gotta get hit first...it is good for the occasional slip up but imo there are better options in Emma,AA,omega red and even iceman for that gem...and having said that,as an attacker sabertooth is well worth R4 even unduped...he will help u out a lot with that raw damage of his
