Specials blocked ALL OF THE **** Time

Doing act 5, during EVERY BLOOMING 5 hit combo and I use a special 1 or 2 the AI is ALWAYS blocking my specials.
I don't understand HOW thats possible, surely if you do a SMOOTH 5 hit combo STRAIGHT into a special attack without any breaks, HOW ON EARTH IS THE DAMNED AI BLOCKING them??
Theres no way anyone, regardless of how good they are would be able to achieve this feat yet for the AI it's impossible for it not to happen
