Idea for a boss fight - ala Final Fantasy 6

At the end of FF6, you use 3 teams to fight the final boss.

A boss such as Galactus is massive. Fighting him one-on-one is silly.

The idea is you take three teams of 5 into the battle. They would all share energy and take turns moving down different paths to fight him.

One team would fight the head, one team would fight the torso and one team would fight the legs.

You would be able to switch from team to team to choose which part to fight first.

Each part of Galactus gives a buff to the other part, so it becomes a paper, rock, scissors event to choose how to effectively fight him.

Thoughts?

The only issue I could foresee is the animation interaction between the individual parts.

Also, this just wouldn't have to be for Galactus. Any massive antagonist, Ego for example, could work.

    Literally or metaphorically? :D

On a serious note, that’s an interesting idea but wouldn’t it, in a sense, just be 3 bosses with outgoing linked nodes to each other?
