Carnage may need overhaul, but just FIXING HIS HEAVY ATTACK is a quick and easy MUST!

Carnage is incredibly useless for many reasons that have been beaten to death on these forums. But one quick and easy fix that is really needed is to his heavy attack. Carnage's whole signature ability is tied to getting a bleed going and his heavy attack is the primary way to do this. Yet his heavy is one of the worst in the game to try to land. Here are the 4 main problems I see with it:
1:
If you start a heavy attack after blocking and attack, the opponent is often too far away for the first part of Carnage's heavy to land and the opponent then rushes in and hits Carnage before the 2nd part of his heavy starts. Because of this, most of the time Carnage can only reliably land a heavy to a stunned opponent.
2:
To make this even worse for Carnage, his heavy animation is so long that a spidey or night crawler with maxed Limber will usually come out of stun (even if Carnage has maxed parry and stupify) and evade the second part of the heavy -- thus avoiding the bleed and counter-punching Carnage in the face too).
3:
If you try to use the range of Carnage's tentacles in the 2nd part of his heavy while your opponent is at a distance, only the moment the tentacles extend have the chance of scoring a hit. After that brief moment, the rest is only animation and the tentacles are all show and not bite. The opponent can dash in -- right through the extended tentacles -- and hit Carnage. Hyperion has a similar concept to his heavy, but he covers much more ground with the 2nd part and doesn't have the tail end of the animation become useless and create vulnerability.
4:
It's so hard to keep an existing bleed going with Carnage because he's so poorly designed in general, but it makes it even harder that only the 2nd part of his heavy (which is screwed up in all the ways above) creates a new bleed. It's so frustrating when you only have 10 seconds to land another heavy to keep a bleed going and you manage to land a heavy in time, but the 2nd part of the heavy happens too late.
SIMPLE SOLUTION: Give Carnage a heavy attack like that of Hood or Cable.
Carnage deserves a complete overhaul, far beyond this suggestion. But since you don't seem to be answering all the calls for that, at least implement this interim band-aid on his broken heavy attack.

Changing carnages heavy to be similar to cables or dormammus I can get behind. But you're right, he needs a lot more than just a heavy upgrade.
