Smoothest Frame rate for Android

I have a Pixel XL 2 and occasionally the frame rates reach absolute God levels of smoothness. However, I have no idea what causes the mind blowing performance uptick and I want to see if I can reach it at a consistent basis. It seems to only happen when I have the phone on Do Not Disturb mode. I have turned the developer mode on but I don't always force 4xMSAA when the smooth frames happen.

    Mine just got really good as well. Happened suddenly between arena series.
