Void intimidating presence/masochism

I had just had voids fear of the void trigger masocishm in war. It says it's a passive debuff and should not. Please look into this

Do you have a photo/video? Who were you fighting? By chance, was it Domino?

No, all of Void's debuffs trigger it. He's a horrible choice for fighting masochism.

From what I understand, since Void's debuffs can be purified, it interacts with masochism even though technically it shouldn't.

I'm wondering if limbo triggers it as well?

Limbo is not a debuff. It won't trigger masoquism.
Void's debuffs are debuffs. Therefore, it does trigger masoquism. He isn't an horrible choise against that node, it's just slower since one of the debuffs will always be consumed.

Respectfully, I disagree. Void is a great choice for masochism, but he does require a little more skill than normal when faced against that node. The key is to target the cooldown periods. If you see that your automatic Intimidating Presence debuff is about the apply, do your best to try to land a parry stun or a resonate weakness debuff on the enemy. If you do, your IP debuff will stick as it normally does. This window also allows you to fire off L1's to stack more. If you can manage to stack 2 petrify debuffs, masochism will no longer heal them. If Void is duped, he has the capability of turning Masochism into a liability for his enemies.

To your second point, Void's Intimidating Presence debuffs are normal, active debuffs just like stun, poison, or bleed. The debuffs have no natural expiration timer, which is a rare trait among active debuffs (kind of like poison from Liquid Courage), but they are active nonetheless. There is no reason they shouldn't interact with Masochism.

They won't always be consumed. You can still apply them during the cooldown for Masochism.

I said his FEAR OF THE VOID triggered it when it was activated. It wasn't simply a buff. I had 6 buffs active and fear of the void kicked in and it triggered it. Fear of the void is Passive

You'll need to give more information if you want support on this issue. Nodes, enemies, and Void's current health are all factors that must be considered.
