Yondu's 'It ain't Easy' Synergy

I've been playing with this synergy a bit today and noticed that, while it gives all my champions the benefit of added block Penetration, including Yondu's medium hits, it doesn't add to Yondu's Yaka arrow hits. They deal the same damage with or without the synergy. Shouldn't it basically double the block Penetration?

    How exactly did you come up with the mindset of it doubling block penetration?

    His Yaka arrows innately have 434 block Penetration, at 5* R4. The synergy gives everybody 400 block Penetration. I would have assumed this would give his Yaka attacks 834 block Penetration.

    So, not quite double, but close. Regardless, I'm not seeing any added benefit to his Yaka arrows.
