When is MS even good?

I know people love MS, but honestly I don’t quite understand. I have a duped 3* that I never use and just now a 2/35 unduped 5*. She seems clunky and pillow fisted (except against buff heavy champs) do I don’t understand the hype. I haven’t played a ton with her a 5 souls, so is she drastically better there?
Edit: I just realized two of the options are kinda the same thing (buff heavies and Ronan) so just consolidate with the first one, thx.

This game is evolving towards longer fights which reaps rewards you can transfer to the next fight, eventually building up new abilities. Morningstar was one of the first of those champions. However, she is by far the most clunky of those.
While for Mephisto it is sufficient to knock-out the opponent to gain a soul, Morningstar requires you to deploy the SP3 and then get the soul counter to 100. Again, great for longer fights but awful for shorter fights. I can guess a mid-tier player like you will finish off the opponent early, so you won't be able to collect any souls.
The only way to get souls is A) through her signature ability and
Still, she is quite nice overall. Her SP2 can really crush buff-heavy champions and her sig allows her to use the fury, regen and power gain buffs to her advantage. She is also bleed-immune, which comes handy in certain situations. However, I found that she has a low attack and medium crit rating. So my 4* has been sitting at 3/30 for ages, until I can dupe her and use her as AW defender.
I guess more accurate would be upper mid tier
