Lunar Calendar Rewards Question

With the Lunar Calendar just starting and war season about to end soon, I imagine there will be a fair number of people moving between alliances. If one were to take part in the gifting event now, claim some of the rewards, and then move onto a different alliance during off season, and then gift envelopes in the new ally, will they be able to claim any rewards in the new ally? Even just the ones unlocked after they moved? Or will it completely prevent you from receiving any rewards to prevent any misuse?

The number of envelopes will reset and go back to zero. If you plan on leaving your current alliance, wait and get to you new alliance first writhing the 2 week period. Gift them when your in an alliance you want to be in.
