Aliance war match making

How long is typical of waiting for a matchup? Yesterday my alliance leader started the war at the exact same time we always have for the last 7 seasons (never without connecting to a match) and for 3 hours it was searching... we never got matched and now will fall from our plat3 142 spot into gold 1. Sent a ticket to support but only got randomized answers about how it’s working as intended. And they closed the case lol. All that hard work all season for what?

    Has anyone ever had a similar situation or feel it’s par the course for war that if you start at 7pm eastern you won’t be able to find a match? I’m feeling like we got cheated out of rewards not only for the war but also for plat 3

    Tons of complaints in the Bugs section. You aren't alone. Don't know if there really is much that can be done.

    @Boss_Crete We had multiple long searches last season and missed the third war. Some people bailed when we landed deep in gold lol. Fortunately we had time to finish in plat 3 but higher was out of the question. This won't happen any more with the new system though.

    Any mods can help me out? I’ve got 30 pissed off members who can’t understand why 3 hours isn’t enough to find a match... hows that working as intended?
