Insta-death after level 3

Can anyone tell me why my characters just die after a level 3 from like red hulk or task master even though when at the end of the cinematic I still had 20+ % health left. It’s super annoying

Can you elaborate it a bit?
Like where do you get these sp3s, war, quests,aq or arenas?

RH deals lots of damage during his sp3 if he has alot of heat charges

I’m not sure about taskmaster either 1. You bleed out a second later or 2. Exploit Weakness does direct damage after the animation is over

They both deal additional damage
Taskmaster deals additional direct damage if exploit weakness is active
Red hulk deals additional damage based on his heat charge
This occurs after sp3 animation
Next time, you'll probably notice numbers in red after their sp3

It happens in arena, there may be some red number, my thumb is usually in the way.

Also with level 3, I don’t get why that loading screen tip says buffs aren’t active but I’ve seen both Luke cage and punisher be invulnerable during the special (From indestructible and endure). Or are they not proper buffs?

I think it says "buffs are paused" more than that they aren't active. It just means that the buff timers aren't counting down while the animation is being played.
