Is alliance war worth it?

The rewards have never really interested me and i have only ever bothered with AQ. Am I missing out on anything?

If you've never done it you're not missing anything.

Need the loyalty from AW to run higher maps of AQ. So I'm assuming you've never played map 6 or possibly even 5. At lower levels of AW you're missing out on nothing because the rewards are garbage. Need to be at the top to get anything useful. But you need either the skill and roster or money and a roster for that.

May not be applicable to the OP but even if people consider AW rewards garbage or outdated; for newer players they are easy shards to start building your roster for harder content.

I am surprised that 4/5* shards are of no interest to you though.

Join a laid back alliance, probably between gold 3 and silver 3 and do wars when you can... I'm in a silver 1 alliance and I just do wars because I'm bored.
