Is 4* Wolverine still good?

I just duped him from the romance crystals. Thinking about ranking him up but i first wanna know if he's still viable in any content. Would appreciate some feedback.

    He’s fun to play and reliable. Yes, he’s still good. I wanna rank 5 mine after I used the general awakening from the captain event.. Definitely worth it and it’s only sitting at rank 4 sig 3

    his one of my main lane clearers .. just fnished up Master EQ vs sinister ... my 4* wolverine cleared 70+% of the paths to him .. :)

    I have him at R4 sig 60, I don’t really use him too much unless I know I’m fighting stupidly hard degen champs
