Old forums reference

I saw in a closed thread someone needing to reference a post made in the old forums. If you need to get to them they are here http://community.wonderhill.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?1239-Marvel-Contest-of-Champions. Unfortunately the search function on the old forum is pretty much useless now and Google hasn't indexed the new site as of the time of this post.

If you try to go to the old forum using a Kabam.com link, you'll be redirected to the new forum.

    That was me.

I was trying to find the post that said that once we create a new Forum Account, it will be linked to our In-Game Account so that the Kabam Team will be able to pull account details such as which device we are using, what OS version we have, and other logs and details associated with each in-game account. The goal is that it will assist them in troubleshooting various issues, bugs, problems, etc. that we may experience.

    Thank you so much!

So this is what Adora says about our in-game accounts being linked to our forum accounts (it's in Bullet 4):

"In-game accounts will be linked on the back end, so we should need to ask for less information if we ever need to investigate a customer service issue, or if you're reporting a bug."

And then here's what Kabam Miike says on the following page:

    "Hey All,

We're seeing a lot of questions on why you'll have to link your account to the new forum account. The answers are quite simple, and will give us a ton of new functionality that will help us work with you guys, as well as make the forums a better place. It gives you all a single-sign on option, makes it easier for us to gather information we often have to ask and wait on for customer service and bug tracking issues (like in game user-id). It will also allow us to better enforce our Forum Rules and Terms of Service, and will help cut back on bullying and harassment. "
