Goldpool Taunt refresh

My understanding of the goldpool setup is after you get 20 hits it triggers Taunt and then using a heavy refreshes the active taunt. This is no longer working on any of the tests I have made.

I have run multiple fights with goldpool recently and got the taunt triggered but unable to refresh it via a heavy, I have video but still figuring out how to post it from my phone
