New release question

Can we get a concrete answer on variant ultrons??? A mod last week posted that they’re being fixed in the next release. The bug fix list for this release only states ambush fix. Then this post yesterday from a mod seems to state indeed the ambush fix is NOT a variant ultron fix. Many have asked with no concrete answer since the patch notes release
