Editing Approval Default

Just curious if the editing of comments is supposed to default to Admin Approval automatically. I've tried editing a couple comments because I have an autocorrect that is a bit wonky, and more often than not, it defaults to Awaiting Approval. Love the new Forum though. Thanks. :)
