I dont recall 100 percent of exploration of heroic only giving 600 5 star shards.. Although i dont think master has changed much if any with the 1000 it rewards

    Heroic is (or was) 1000 5* and master was 1500 5*, paired with uncollected for a total of 10,000 5* per month
