Champion Upgradation with Basic ISO-8 & Class ISO-8 . WHat is the Difference...!!!!

Guys.! i have a very basic but burning question in my mind. Please enlighten me with your experiences, what is the major difference if i upgrade my champions with normal iso`s rather then class based iso`s . i know normal iso`s would take more Gold to level up then Class ones but other then that is there a major drawback upgrading my champions with tier 1,2,3 basic iso catalysts.?

Moreover, Champion`s hero-rating or PI rating depends on mysteries. Does Champions rating also get effected when upgrade with normal iso`s?

i need to understand basic mechanics of champions hero-rating/PI rating (if there is) other then mastery setups (which i totally understand).

Need your important views here summoners.!

The main difference is cost.

If you use a 5k generic ISO vs a 5k class specific ISO for that class, you’ll get 5k added to your champ using the generic and 7.5k if you used the class specific.

It’s more economical to use class ISO and smaller generics to round them off.

and regarding 2nd part it wont effect the core rating of champion? only Drawback is more gold to level up

Yup. That’s the only difference.

Though the gold difference might not feel that much but I've heard a lot from senior players that it makes a huge difference in the long run and it's very easy to run out of gold

Sell the basic and save T3, T4, and T5 class based iso.
