I personally think Corvus is over hyped. I find Quake more interesting and well versed for more situations (although I don’t have her).
Playing her in limber / debuff immune situations is EXTREMELY difficult. Because of that, her usefulness is limited unless you're really good with her.
If you can play quake "touchless" (no parries, evade and Dex only) then go with quake. Otherwise, I gotta say Corvus.

I feel like those situations are very minimal unless you maybe have a specific war path with those nodes on them. Even then, you can use Quake for the fights on those paths except for those specific fights. Corvus relies too heavily on boosts and Proxima synergy to be at max performance.
I disagree that Corvus relies on boosts or any synergies. He is my most recent R5 5*, and I use him most often in my main questing team with the holy trinity and Domino. So no synergies, but he still was a game changer to have for EQ, exploring Act 5, etc. While boosts and proxima make him even better, he will contribute plenty without either.
Yeah corvus needs to be r5 to shine, cos then he can finish war fights and eq fights quickly without running out of crits, love quake don't get me wrong but r4 quake will do the same thing just take a little longer
Quakes play style makes a lot of challenges a cake walk if you know how to play her. The decision depends on who you like more since they are both R5 worthy.
