Alliance season war

We were in tier 3 accoridng to war season tally where as it was showing war tier 4 in normal. During matchup we face tier 3 noded war. We cleared the war and ended up with tier 4 reward and multiplier. On mailing kabam I got this reply that our map is decided by the opponent tier and instead of fighting other tier we will have current tier rewards and multliplier.

    @Kabam Miike please can you share your thoughts over this sir. Why it is so instead of fighting tier 3 war using items make war clear and ended up with tier 4 rewards and multiplier

    but to summarise I believe you are right.

    "this has happened 3 times this season
    We won a war and moved to t6. next war was only t7 multiplier.
    We won another war later and moved to t5 next war was only t6 multiplier.
    We just won again and moved to t4. this war is only t5 multiplier.

    it seems to be locking you in at your current tier when you enlist for war.
    so after you win and your tier changes it doesnt update.
    this is a big error costing many alliances many points but kabam has so far said nothing on it.

    we have won every war this season. all 7 so far.
    and we have seen this everytime we have moved up a tier."

    Support and Mods have been all over the map on explaining even how it is intended to work. Apparently no one knows how the scoring is supposed to work for the most competitive game mode. It's worse than the definition of a catch in the NFL lol

    Curious. In the past if you Matched with an Alliance of a different Tier, the Map would be chosen randomly between the two. It was my understanding that you were awarded Points based on what Tier you were in. Could it be possible that it's applying Points for the random choice?

    as we have spoke with the alliances we have fought and they are same tier.
    and as discussed in the thread I linked above where I provide all this info I have we have had it happen 3 times.
    all after the win that resulted in us moving up a tier.
    Coincidence? I think not.
    error in matchmaking causing it to not recognise the movement in war tiers.

    it will expain what I mean.
    basicalyy you enlist in t6. but then you win and move to t5. the next war still has you in t6 as you were enlisted while in t6.

    Do we know if that's how it's supposed to work? For example, when you Enlist, it's possible that's when it takes a "snapshot", so-to-speak, and it Enlists you and Matches you as you were when you Enlisted.

    well that's how it seems to be working.
    and that is exactly wat I have said is you are mached based on tier you enlisted.
    which is wrong as we won and moved up our next war should be inhioger tier.
    and on the war room given it is show tier X and multiplier y that clearly shows there is a bug somewhere.
    as the tier and multiplier do not match on that screen.

    but previous to this.
    you win and move up your very next war is in the higher tier.
    that is how it has alwaysa worked previously.

    now it is showing us as having moved up but our next war is not in the higher tier.
    it is now suddenly different to how it has always been in the past.

    so yeah I am gunna say "error / bug"
    cus if it was changed they havn't told us and it also sucks and is unfair.
    as it means you lose and go down and your next war will not be in the lower tier.
