Masteries and the effect on champs

For awhile now my masteries don’t seem to work in the battles. I use suicides and my champs still do the same damage as no masteries at all ... and please bring new mastery content we need it ... quests have evolved but the tools we use in those quests have not evolved so please kabam do something
