Rate of accruing 5 star champs

So I'm not yet Uncollected and I started long ago but stopped and recently came back. I fighting my way through 5.1 now. I only have 5 5* champions. It's a slow burn to maybe 1-2 5* crystal openings a month for me. Does getting 5* champs get significantly faster after attaining Uncollected?

Yes. Uncollected EQ gives you 7,500 shards from exploring alone. Not to mention the new uncollected calendar that gives you a GMC every two weeks and the ability to purchase (F)GMC.
