Question about "potential rewards" in fights

Is there a certain criteria you have to meet to get them? Like hitting a certain number of hits with out getting hit, or taking no damage? Just wondering cause I'm a new player and my buddy didn't tell me how to get them

    Yea the game is all luck. Like how I have been playing for years and can’t get a 4 or 5star AA to save my life. And here you are. New, with a 4star AA.

    It was from the crystal for beating Act 1. My buddy told me I was really lucky. Said whatever you hope to get, it's gonna be the opposite

    Speaking of how he's gonna carry me.. I know you said you didn't have him, but how do I make him do whatever he's supposed to do? It all seems rather confusing.. but there's probably some kind of guide on this site yeah?

    Youtube is a good place. Lots of people post tutorials on how to use certain champs and how to get the best out of their abilities. Also google and YouTube are good for learning about masteries and how to use those points the best. I usually watch YouTube videos for help.

    Thanks man. My buddy told me a few things. He said don't sell champs, don't buy crystals, save the units to buy cores for masteries, and get Parry and Dexterity. But the most important thing he said was to take it slow and have fun. Anything else I should know?

    Go on YouTube and search for dork lessons. You'll learn a lot.
    Edit: Maybe add in mcoc, otherwise you might find other stuff....
