Should I use it as an opportunity to practice intercepting and playing with my 3* and new 4* roster, or just blitz through it?

I would suggest if you want to learn intercepting try rol ws.why?
Act 4 champs health are not high they will get ko without getting hang of it.and also rol champ has high health so you can learn tricks without rushing and slowly in one fight.

Does ROL A I. work though? WS never seems to fall prey to my backdraft intercepts.

Best way I learned is from arena, you fight many different champs and most of the time can afford to mess up. Also helps practicing using dex on their specials
