Hiting on block counter by a.i. is a known bug or not?

I'm sorry if this is mentioned or noted somewhere, but with all these bug reports I can't be sure.
The issue about countered while hitting on block is a bug or a change in the meta @Kabam Miike ?
I got countered twice in the same fight mid-combo while fighting a MODOK in war on parry immune node. Normal combo on block tactic to gain some distance from the wall MLLLL and right after the first L I got hit once by a special (which I've seen reported again) and one by a Light attack from the defender, a thing that should be impossible between Light attacks.
If it's a bug, it is missing from the list of known issues. If it’s not a bug it's something that will weigh heavily on defense placement decisions.
