Possible limited event or option to burn gold for ingame items?

since rank down tickets are not spoken about how about an option or something to use gold to purchase ingame items like awakening gems (including 5*) or revives, etc... have a ton of gold could use some of it for something else or possibly donate to people? but item purchases would be great.
