Change the T4 Class Catalyst Trade In Crystal

I cannot for the life of me understand why this is set up to give you a random class other than the one you are trading in. I am already "taking a loss" on this transaction as I am giving up 3 catalysts in exchange for 1. I've already put the time/resources into acquiring those 3 catalysts. I should be able to choose whichever class catalyst I want back in exchange for the 3 I am giving up. I've seen this brought by others, but no responses ever. Please make this change.
