and wonder why buffs weren't active on parry him?

I am not able to find the reason, someone please explain me.

    It can be becasse covus reduces a 25 procent if he already. Hav kil a tech so that why he culd do that

    In addition to this, there were also times where if you caused a debuff, Ultron would get armor. But since Corvus breaks all armor, the armor he would have gained is broken. Thus why you don't see armor buffs staying.
