Why ranged atacks trigger biohazard?

We know contact hits against electro makes u take shock damage
We also know ranged atacks doesnt deal shock damage

We know contact hits against morningstar makes u bleed
We also know that ranged atacks doesnt make u bleed

So.. why on biohazard nodes we bleed on ranged atacks when there s no contact at all? That doesn’t fit the description!

I used Hyperion sp1 laser beans and got inflicted like 4 bleeds lol wtf
I should take one bleed max! Due to the first punch, but laser beans dont make contact and shouldnt trigger bleed!

Same reason that Blade inflicts bleed when he parries a projectile special attack...it's what the ability says.
