How to bring back old monthly event quests

Alot of players have missed some previous event quests like the M.O.D.O.K, many X-Men themed ones, and some cooler ones like CW. What could be done is bring each one back worth a week once a month but ethier drop a bunch of the rewards or make them harder by having it only have 1 difficulty. And how this can be explain in a story wise is some one or something has caused rifts in time causing past events to happen once again. So what do you guys think is this a good or bad idea.
