Gift Badge Problem

A While back i learned about the problem of gifting. After a long time i wanted to gift but i couldnt. I understand the disabling of the Gift Ability but I dont understand why I've never got the 850 units prize that was given to the players for this

    Units were only given if you had a gifting badge that was given with a unit purchase. If you wanted to gift but never could, you didn't have the badge and wouldn't have gotten the unit compensation. There are more details about this here.
