Rewards for a duplicate 5 star champ already at sig 200

Over a year ago, before 5 star champs were introduced, if a player pulled a duplicate of a 4 star champ at 99 signature level, Kabam rewarded that player with nothing. The game team recognized that this was discouraging and frustrating. They changed the format to award players who received worthless duplicates of 99 sig champs they already had with shards or sig stones. This has not yet been done for 5 star champs, and the game team needs to take the same action as it did for 4 star champs. The game team has recognized that NOT rewarding players who pull a worthless duplicate is a bad business practice. When will the game team institute the same policy for five star champs?

Fully agree with OP - regardless if you are a whale or a new player, everyone should have a fair compensation for reaching an achievement, whether thru spending or events - we will all get there sooner or later - we all seen players get the same stagnant pulls - why not reward them with stones, more shards or even an awakening gem.

It's a problem that's becoming more common everyday. 15k shards for nothing is a slap in the face.

To lower tier players that have no sympathy just remember that you'll be in the same position soon enough. Be thankful those before you got the 4* changed or you'd be dealing with that now.

Thinking 2,500-5,000 shards returned in addition to 20-class specific 5* stones to be issued.

I think players should receive PC shards when duping 5*. That way it's just a cycle.
