Which trinity is the most effective in the current state of the game for questing? (No including aq or aw)

It entirely depends on the contents of the particular quest.

However, the Blade crew is easily the most versatile

I can agree with that. The holy trinity definitely does have the most utility. Blade and GR have serious regen and sparky has the damage and evades, power drain etc.
