Nameless(Thanos) keeps blocking in phase 1 when facing a heavy attack

When Nameless comes into Phase 1, we have to use a heavy attack or special attack to hit him.
But when I was holding heavy attack, he would just come in front of you and hold his block, instead of attacking me directly.
I am not using YouTube so there is no video but a pic. Though it makes Phase 1 easier, I think there is something wrong with AI, so I put this up.
