AW Season 9 synergies broken?

So I just faced a King Groot mini with my CapIW, and even with 5 kinetic charges, KG managed to parry/stun me.

My CapIW is sig 200, (with skill in team sig ability) he has 100% chance to purify debuffs. I had Killmonger in my team as the skill champ.

Are the attack synergies broken?? That's the only explanation I can think of. Anyone else experience this?
I read another user post on Reddit that they faced a Nebula with 10 charges which is only possible with Proxima synergy. So have they turned ON AWD synergies and turned OFF AWA synergies??!

    Well that's actually not a synergy, it's a sig ability. This may be a Cap specific bug. My Stark started the fight with 3 poise with Blade on my team, so it's not everyone at least.

    Haven't run into AWD synergies yet, but I know to keep an eye out now.

    CapIW sig ability is linked to the team he brings, so in that sense I feel the AWA team synergies are not registering maybe

    Based on what I'm reading from his sig ability, he only purifies the debuffs, he technically can still be stunned for that splitsecond that it takes to purify the debuff. That splitsecond may have been just nice for the AI to counter you

    It's instant purify. I have tested this and used this against encroaching stun nodes in dungeons multiple times.
