Help with Variant 2 Chapter 1.2

The first thought when I see an awaken Killmonger on Spite and Buffet nodes, "I believe there is no XL champ that can effectively counter him and there is no XL champ that can take him down in one shot either."

So what's the strategy here guys?
Is there any XL champ that can counter him with that nodes that I overlooked?
Or KABAM just wants us to use units/items for that path, hence, that annoying combo nodes and champs?

I'm thinking King Groot for the permanent Armor Break to totally cancel out KM's reverberation signature ability. But KG has buffet so he's just gonna feed power to KM.

Sentinel is a nice option but do I need to consistently spam his sp1 for that armor break to minimum reverberation damage?

Domino + rulk or AA. Heavy, heavy sp3. No sweat

Think outside the box. Variant 2 does not require you to only bring XL champs. Both suggestions above work well. You can also use Hyperion and CapIW for many other paths.

I used AA on that KM. 5/50. Did take a revive. But got him down.
