Ghost gains power gain against psylocke?

So just a normal run of quest for the stones using my rank 4 ghost and then when I got to psylocke on the black widow quest I started fighting her and then all of a sudden I gained power gain for a short period of time and psylocke got this debuff it was to fast for me to read what the debuff was about it had the same logo pic for ghost riders judgements I was wondering if anyone knows why this is?

    Everytime Psylockes opponent gains a bar of power Paylocke gains a Psi-charge. When Psylocke is struck while having a charge the charge is consumed giving her opponent power based on how long it has been since her opponent gained power. When attacking her this doesnt mean much.
