Killmonger's sp2 not triggering indestructible against Thanos

So I'm specifically talking about the nameless thanos, the last boss on the last map of this month's EQ.

In thanos' final phase, where you have to intercept to get safeguard, killmonger does not get indestructible changes when I hit thanos with sp2.

Is this a bug or does thanos have some sort of ability accuracy reduction that I've missed in his ability description??

In his last phase, your character will constantly get armor break debuffs. Meaning you won't get vibranium armor, which is needed for him to trigger the indestructible charges
