Alliance War - Why can’t we use the champions that are in AW in regular quests?

What is the point of not being able to use the champions we put in AW in regular quests? I think it’d be better if we just can’t use them until they die in AW because waiting two days to use them seems like overkill.

    You can use them during placement phase, just not attack phase.
