What the heck are rifts?

So the question is clear, i am actually playing this game for a Long time, but i always did some breaks between the years, so i have missed the rifts i guess ( or i am getting old, is 18 old?)

Since nobody has given you a straight answer, they are side quests that you can do with the cost of Rift Shards, in this months case it is Atlantean Coral. You find this coral in completion and exploration rewards for the monthly event quest and you spend them to enter the rifts.

They did say there will be 2 kinds this month, Stable and Unstable. The Stable ones provide more predictable rewards and the Unstable not so predictable. In the past, you would move to a teleporter and it will send you to a path at random, some rewards being better than other, I believe this is how the Unstable Rifts will be.

Look on the Forums for some KABAM posts and they should have all the information.

Where did the f4 class list go for the riffs? Is Blackbolt on the list? I recall Medusa is but Blackbolt and his dog were f4 as well...i think the "Inhumans" first appeared in f4. The riffs are going to require champs from that list! Good luck op!
