The pictures say it all. The defender is healing even though he’s heal blocked and gains power even though he’s power locked.

    Is a dup doc oc. His power lock turns into a power drain/steal, and the heal block becomes life steal.
    In other words, the numbers appear, but.he isnt healing since he is losing an equivalent amount of HP

    Well can’t really tell whether he’s healing or not but heal block means no life gain whatsoever.
    The power goes up and back down. This would be enough to trigger abilities that activate when reaching a bar of power such as limbo. Here again power lock means no change in power. Not gain power then lose it.

    Is his ability. He doesnt really power lock or heal block when dup.
    Instead he drains an enquivalent amiunt of whats gained

    Sorry but that makes no sense. He applies a power lock and heal block debuff but “doesn’t really power lock or heal block”?

    In on his sig abilitiy. It says that the heal block and power lock are replaced by other effects, which is the life steal and power steal.
    So yeh, the icon is misleading. It's not even a debuff at that point
