War tier

We won a War against another Alliance, and we dropped from Intermediate down to Normal now I'm puzzled.

Keep in mind that there are other alliances competing at the same time. When an alliance wins more points in their war than yours did, they would get ahead of you if they were close in points. You must have been on the verge of the tiers.
