Labyrinth champs still evade Emma frost whilst she is in telepath form

Hi,
I recently experienced an issue whilst in labryinth and while using Emma Frost and noticed that the champs still evaded her while she was in her telepath form. Is this to be expected?

I heard that passive ability like that won't have any affect on Labyrinth evasion ability.

However, I know for a fact that True Accuracy ability that can be seen on the screen (such as Ægon and Proxima) can override that evasion.
I know because I've cleared Labyrinth using Ægon and the only time they evaded my attack was when I didn't have passive True Accuracy ability available (which will only happen when Ægon doesn't hit with a critical hit given that you already have a minimum 150 hit combo).
