I see a lot of valid points people are making.

Do gates suck? Yeah I have 9, 6 stars and feel most are inadequate to get me a run through. But some have points, you don’t want people running through story in 2-3 days.

Do the nodes combinations suck? Yeah they do, some aren’t tough and need strategy, which is fine a dandy. I don’t mind them, they make you plan your roster to the max and not just being the trinities of the game. But when it requires 2 champs that’s a lot of people don’t have as 6 stars or 5s that’s when I feel like it’s BS. I for 1 don’t have either heimdall or hela/Angela which sucks. And I also won’t spend real money to acquire vision. That’s just not my style, I like being married more than this game.

Are the rewards subpar? Yeah they are, I’m glad they changed the master. Heroic and normal rewards that’s a step in the right direction, should they change uncollected is the next question. I don’t think they really need to, but for the love of god, loosen the purse strings a little and add units. Adding a cavalier difficulty would be cool, don’t need to change up the health and attack pool, just use some of the nodes from act 6.1.

I just hate how this game rarely requires skill anymore except for that thanos EQ fight and that you can't clear content until you get those few specific champs who you may not even get further down the line

So if you do get these Skelton key champs, that means you need no skill at all and just waltz through the fights then right? That's beyond ridiculous. You just don't like additional champion requirements and gates.
What I'm talking about has nothing t9 do with gates I'm talking about all these node combinations for example the sinister boss who road blocked so many people all because the nodes limited about 80% of champs in the game and obviously it still takes skill but without these specific champions no skill will help you beat some of these defenders in act 6
The direction that the game seems to be heading is a need for an incredibly extensive roster. With the abilities of some of the new champs and the availability of rank resources, newer players are able to fly through content up to act 6 faster than a lot of us veterans could have imagined a few years ago. So it seems that the way the devs plan on counteracting some of that expedited progression is with essential and literal roster gates. I'm not saying I like or agree with it but it seems to be the case nonetheless. It seems that some people are really not going to have much other choice than to be patient with the current direction things are going.
That makes no sense, cause variants are the proof kabam could alwais make road blocks even for developed rosters THinking they are now trying to stop middle levels from rushing too much content is hilarious. The only direction the game is taking is the one where you either spend for X countering Y, or can't do content without spending Z, where usually Z is more or less the cost of getting X
It makes total sense. You don't have to spend a dime. You will however have to spend time increasing your roster size though before you can complete certain content it seems.

So yes it seems like people are going to need more than 1 or 2 of the best champs in the game to catch up on content with some of the rest of people. I'm fine with that personally. Either spend the time or the money. Getting lucky once or twice just doesn't look like it's gonna do it anymore
