    Since a=b, if you have a-b, then that =0. In steps 4 to 5, you divided by (a-b), this you tried to divide by 0. It is mathematically impossible to divide by 0, hence 2 does not equal 1.
    Overall, there is no silver lining in this case. Your bad champ is bad.
