Why do every aspect of this games feel like a gamble? I mean from champion crystals, resources, even quest such as atlantean rifts, rank up gems, etc? I know it’s definitely a money maker for the company and as I consumer I can understand. But seriously I feel like this game biggest flaw is the randomness you get bad luck 80-90% of the time and it’s very frustrating and it doesn’t seem this will ever change only if kabam is forced to which I hope some day that happens

I know. Even when you want to pay 100 bucks for an awakening gem in an offer to awaken a champ is a gamble that you get the one you need. And thats a fricken 100 bucks your willing to pay. lol

Because humans are moist robots more easily programmed by unpredictable rewards than predictable.

If you only get bad luck 80-90 percent of the time then by kabam standards you actually have amazing luck considering drop rates even on purchased crystals is %5 or less! Consider yourself lucky bro! I do get what you mean tho and it is horrible.. But i just stopped paying because of it.. I like to think of each of these stupid free crystals as a magic bean im tossing into a wishing well.. I dont expect the bean stalk to grow so ill never be disappointed and i cant complain because i know they wont see a penny of my money ever again. I basically paid them to tell me what a big mistake i was making by paying them!! Thats what kabam is all about

you need to look up "gacha" games, they are mostly targeted to mobile games,

    here a vid

but if u look deep down inside, it started with sports games like fifa ultimate team, before u can only unlock and buy card in the game, soon they started adopting real life card "booster" packs to get rare and strong cards.

i suggest u also watch this video

fifa 09 first started having "pay" real cash to get cards
    around the 7:40 mark

Yeah, EA is kinda the root in all this with Ultimate Team, they make a ridiculous amount of money selling FIFA points, who wouldn't follow this model? Clearly, we are willing to spend cash on "chance"
