Black Bolt is a Suicide Guy

Guys I saw that black bolt performing his sp2 while at 10 furies and 10 cruelty buffs and when this dude throwed his sp2 he was taking damage.. I don't know was it energy damage because the numbers were displayed in orange.. Can someone explain this to me is it normal or something else, first time sawing this and it was in Real of Legends that 56K black bolt

    That's the old black belt that you're fighting in ROL, where using his sp2 caused him to lose 5% damage. They updated him so he doesn't do that anymore, but they didn't change it in quests

    lol black belt.

    To be a little more clear:
    They changed Black Bolt (not too long ago actually) He no longer takes a recoil type damage with his L2.
    However on old content like Realm of Legends they typically do not let these changes go retro-active to the old content. I can't say that it is this way across the board, but you will def find champs in old content that have been updated that still perform like they did when that content was released.
