Since I got limited resources spent some time to figure out what a good value for some of the most of the wanted items look like, these are the results:
A decent value for 5 and 6 star shards can be obtained throught featured cavalier crystals, the more different 3, 4 and 5 stars champions you have the more shards you get (from duping) so the value have to be adjusted SLIGHTLY for each player. the numbers I used: 90% 3stars, 80% 4 stars and 25% 5 stars. The result:
Featured cavalier crystal value: 1000 units= 541 (6 star shards)+ 6104 (5 star shards)
On a good deal the values should be higher than featured cavalier crystals, how higher does it have to be to be considered good is debatable. A good way to evaluate catalysts on a good deal is through the 6.1 completion rank up gem offer. The offer includes revives, potions and refils that are valued around 3k units, the price of the offer is 12k units and includes a 5 star rank 4-5 gem crystal so we could say on a good deal it is valued 9k units. The value of each individual catalyst depends on each player, for some the t4CC are worthless, others the T2A are more important than T5BC since they did not get the specific champions they want to take to rank 5 yet. The values I used: 50% of the price of the deal is from the T5BC, 45% from T2A and 5% from T4CC. Results:
One class specific T4CC= 75 units
One class specific T2A= 675 units
One class specific T5BC= 2250 units
The rank up gem is class specific so on a good deal the generic version of those catalysts will be worth more than the above values. Arbitrarily lets say the class specific has 80% of the value of a generic catalyst, then we get:
Generic (of the color you want) T4CC= 93.75 units
Generic T2A= 843.75 units
Generic T5BC= 2812.5 units
This has proven me usefull to make better decisions, hope it helps more people.

I think I get what you're going at here, but the terminology is really not accurate, limiting the helpfulness of what you're trying to do.
Can you think of a better way to describe it?
